Set a new default payment method
After you've added the new payment method using the steps above, we highly recommend removing all other payment methods on file. To do so, please follow the steps below:
- On the left-side panel, click on Your Name, then click Settings.
- Go to the Plan & Billing tab
- Click Change Plan
- Under "Payment Method," click the X next to the card, then remove all other cards.
- This ensures we have only one payment method on file for you, removing the risk of an older card being charged on renewal.
Change the default payment method
If you prefer to keep multiple payment methods on your account, you can set the default payment for your plan with the following steps:
- On the left-side panel, click on Your Name, then click Settings.
- Go to the Plan & Billing tab
- Click Change Plan
- On the right-hand side of the page, click the Update Payment button.
- Select a payment method and click Continue.
- At the top of the page, under "Current Subscription," you should see the new payment method selected. This will be set as the payment method moving forward and will be charged at renewal.
Can I use the bank account connected to Heard for my subscription payment?
Although your bank account is connected to Heard via Plaid, so that your transactions automatically sync to your books, we are unable to use that for your subscription plan payment. We would need you to update your payment method within your dashboard.
