What both plans include
With Essential or the Premium Plan, you get:
- Done-for-you bookkeeping, with reports that show how your practice is doing
- Quarterly estimated taxes, with payment guidance each quarter
- Annual tax preparation and filing, including joint returns, with an assigned tax preparer and free extension support
- Expert support through Messages
- Heard Banking
If you're an S corporation, both plans also include your business return (Form 1120-S) and personal return, salary and distribution guidance, and accountable plan setup. If you're an S corporation or group practice, both plans include payroll setup. Heard Payroll is available as an add-on on both plans.
The Premium Plan: everything in Essential, plus a dedicated expert
The Premium Plan includes everything in Essential, plus:
- A dedicated expert. One accounting and tax specialist who works with health and wellness practices and serves as your primary contact year-round.
- Unlimited 1:1 meetings. There's no set limit. Book time with your expert whenever a question comes up, by video or phone (fair use applies).
- Four quarterly check-ins a year. 30-minute meetings with an agenda built from your books, and a written summary with next steps afterward.
- A connected team. Your expert works closely with your bookkeeper and tax preparer, so your books, taxes, and planning stay aligned.
- White-glove onboarding. When you join or upgrade, you'll meet your expert and can book 1:1 meetings to get set up from day one.
For sole proprietors
If your practice is a sole proprietorship or single-member LLC that isn't taxed as an S corporation, your expert helps with the questions that come up as your practice grows:
- The right setup for your practice. Your expert reviews your current setup and walks you through whether a change, like an S corp election, could save you money, including any deadlines that apply to you.
- Estimated taxes that stay on track. Your expert checks that your quarterly estimates keep pace with your income, including other household income like a spouse's W-2, so there are fewer surprises at tax time.
- Year-end planning. What to take care of before December 31, while there's still time to act.
- A strong start for new practices. If you're just getting started, your expert helps you know what to set aside for taxes and keep your books clean from day one.
For S corporations
If you're an S corporation, the Premium Plan also includes:
- An S corp review at each quarterly check-in
- A salary and distribution plan built with your expert and revisited every quarter
- Accountable plan setup in a 1:1 meeting
- Payroll onboarding with live 1:1 support (Heard Payroll is an add-on)
For group practices
If you're a group practice, the Premium Plan also includes:
- Growth planning at your quarterly check-ins, including cash flow, hiring timing, and what each new provider means for your taxes
- Payroll onboarding with live 1:1 support for you and your team (Heard Payroll is an add-on)

Which plan is right for you?
Essential is a great fit if you want your books, quarterly taxes, and annual return handled for you, and you're comfortable getting answers by message from our team of experts.

- In your first year as an S corp, and setting up payroll, a reasonable salary, and distributions
- Growing a group practice, and thinking through hiring, payroll, and how to pay yourself as you add providers
- A sole proprietor whose income is growing, and wondering whether and when an S corp makes sense
- New to private practice, and want guidance from day one on what to set aside for taxes and how to keep your books clean
