Referring Friends to Heard

Overview

At Heard, we are dedicated to supporting therapists with their financial back office needs. Our referral program is created to help you earn a reward for introducing Heard to your friends.

How does Heard's referral program work?

As a Heard therapist, for each therapist you refer who joins Heard, you'll receive a $200 gift card as a token of appreciation for sharing us with your peers! Your friend(s) will also receive their first month free on Heard.

1. Invite your friend(s) from your Heard account.
2. Your friend signs up for Heard's 30-day free trial from the invite email.
3. You receive a $200 gift card once they complete their 30-day free trial and become a Heard customer.
4. You receive an additional $200 gift card once they are a Heard customer for 90 days.

How to refer a friend

Recommending and referring peers to Heard is easy! 

1. Login to your Heard account.
2. From the left-hand side panel, click Rewards - Get $400.
3. In the “Refer a friend” section, enter the following:
   1. Friend’s first name
   2. Friend’s last name
   3. Friend’s email address
4. To send to more friends, click + Add another.
5. Click Send email.

When and how will I receive the reward?

You will receive your reward once your friend joins and has been with Heard for 30 days. The first $200 gift card will be sent via email to the email associated with your Heard account. Then, you will receive an additional $200 gift card once your friend has been with Heard for 90 days. 

Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?

There is no limit to how many friends you can refer. 

Why haven't I received my gift card yet?

There could be several reasons why you haven't received your rewards:

• Your friend hasn't signed up or been a paid Heard member for 30 days.
• Your friend might be ineligible to be a Heard member if we can't support their practice needs for one or more of the following reasons:
  • International taxes
  • Multiple practice owners
  • C-Corp tax entity
  • Practice with more than ten employees
  • Combined personal and business banking activity

I referred someone to join Heard, but they were not a fit to sign up. Do I still receive a gift?

If your friend does not meet our service eligibility criteria, they will be unable to sign up for Heard. Unfortunately, we cannot issue a gift or rewards unless a referred customer signs up and has been with us for 30 days. We encourage you to keep referring friends to see if they may be a good fit! 

My friend forgot to use my code.

If one of your friends joins but forgets to use your link to sign up, please reach out via Messages

with their name and the email address they used to sign up for Heard.
