How does Heard's referral program work?
As an existing user in our app, for each person you refer who joins Heard, you'll receive a $200 VISA gift card or charity donation as a token of appreciation for sharing us with your network! In return, each referred member will receive a $100 VISA gift card or charity donation as a thank you for joining our community. Each recipient may select their preference between receiving a gift card or a donation.
Please note: You will receive each $200 gift once a referred member has signed up and been with Heard for 30 days. In order to qualify, new members must meet certain eligibility criteria (e.g. has an established practice, operates as a mental health professional in the United States, is in good financial standing, etc.).
Where can I refer friends?
You can now refer friends in-app! Click the "Refer a Friend" button at the top right corner of your dashboard, or navigate to the "Overview" tab to share an email or referral link on the right hand side of your dashboard.
Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
Not at the moment! We're ready to grow and continue to support clinicians across the country.
Why haven't I received my gift card yet?
If you have referred a new potential customer, you'll receive a $200 gift card or charity donation of your choosing once that customer has signed up and been with Heard for 30 days. This helps us to ensure that our community is indeed growing! If you are a new customer who was invited to join Heard, similarly, you'll receive your $100 gift once you have been a Heard user for 30 days.
Gift cards will be sent via email to the email associated with your Heard account.
I'm a new customer who has just joined Heard. Can I still refer friends to join the platform?
Of course! We want you to share with your network and reach and help as many clinicians as we can. You'll still earn your $100 gift once you've been a part of Heard for 30 days, and can subsequently earn $200 for each of your referrals who a) sign up for Heard and b) pass the 30 day mark of being a Heard user.
I referred someone to join Heard but they were not a fit to sign up. Do I still receive a gift?
Unfortunately, if a potential customer does not meet certain eligibility criteria, they will be unable to sign up for the Heard platform. For example, this may occur if someone is referred who is not a mental health professional or who has commingled personal and business expenses. We have these rules in place to ensure that we are supporting customers to the best of our ability for the price they are paying, and will typically direct customers elsewhere if they are not a fit for Heard.
Unfortunately, we cannot issue a gift or rewards unless a referred customer signs up and has been with us for 30 days. We encourage you to keep referring friends to see if they may be a good fit!
