The SimplePractice Annual Financial Activity Report contains billing information for the calendar year, including client and insurance payments, write-offs, subscription expenses, and more. To download this report, please follow the steps below.
- Sign in to your SimplePractice account.
- Navigate to Analytics > Reports
- Click [Year] Annual Financial Activity Report
- After clicking the link, you’ll receive a notification letting you know the report is being generated.
- After the Report is created, an email will automatically be sent to you that includes the link to download.
- Please note: This link will be available for 48 hours. If the link expires, you can generate a new annual financial activity report from your account.
- You can also navigate to Settings > Data Export to download the Tax Report after generating it from the Reports page. The link to download from this page will also expire after 48 hours.
- Upload this report to Heard.
Maintaining privacy
Important: Please review these reports before you share them with us. Depending on how your transactions are recorded, they might include your client's names. To remain HIPAA-compliant, please review the reports and redact or delete client information before uploading to Heard.
